The EcoTarium is excited to announce our newest traveling exhibit, Journey to Space. Come to the official opening and ribbon cutting on Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 11:00 am and be among the first to experience this exciting new interactive exhibit!
Visitors will discover and explore the exciting environment of outer space in Journey to Space! This highly interactive experience utilizes hands-on elements that allow visitors to work with drop towers, water rockets, and robotic arms, while educating on topics like artificial gravity, orbital physics, Newton’s third law of motion, and more!
There’s much to discover as visitors learn more about these immersive topics which explore a variety of challenges and accomplishments, and show how far we have come in the last fifty years of exploring space.
Can’t make our event? Don’t worry! We always have something new happening outside, inside, and onstage. The Journey to Space exhibit will be sticking around until April 2027! Come check it out or experience one of our daily planetarium programs*, take a ride on the seasonal Worcester Railers Explorer Express Train*, and get up close to our resident otters*!
* Requires a separate ticket that is not included with admission.
This exhibit is included with admission to the EcoTarium on weekdays. On weekends, a ticket is required for entry into the Stoddard Exhibition Hall for this exhibit.
